Roberts, who is fighting breast cancer, had no idea the tweets were coming. The record was kicked off during a speech by URDB president Dan Rollman at the 2011 Next Conference in Berlin, Germany. Members of the Nurse Oncology Education Program Steering Committee stomped on the word “Cancer.” In total, 240 toes stepped on the word.

253 young adult cancer survivors from the Lurie Cancer Center gathered together and made a toast while saying “Together we will break cancer.”
