51 members of the Vermont AmeriCorps group came together and recited the AmeriCorps Pledge with at least 26 people in the group standing on one leg. The world record was set at their Annual Statewide Conference in Stowe, Vermont. The AmeriCorps Pledge: "I will get things done for America to make our people safer, smarter, and healthier. I will bring Americans together to strengthen our communities. Faced with apathy, I will take action. Faced with conflict, I will seek common ground. Faced with adversity, I will persevere."

18 members of Wieden Kennedy’s Team Hot Pink did The Cabbage Patch Dance[] in a Whole Foods while a crying, bearded man watched. Baratunde Thurston led a group of 125 Liberals at Hamilton College in a recital of the 37 self-professed accomplishments of the GOP. Forty Mary Kay consultants said “Mary Kay kisses cancer goodbye” at the same time. They set the record in honor of Terri Schaefer for the We Believe Foundation.

At a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City, Tony DeLois took word suggestions from the audience to fill in a game of Mad Libs. His mother then read the resulting story aloud. The whole process took two minutes and 22.55 seconds. 48 members of Texas 4000 donned fake mustaches and danced in a conga line. Each mustache was made using Break Cancer stickers.

60 riders in the Texas 4000stood in a circle and made individual dedications before lining up and forming a can-can line. They set the record before heading out on a bicycle ride.
