April Choi cracked a whip 364.5 feet in length. The record was set at Richwood High School in Peoria, Illinois. The measurement of the whip was made by a licensed professional land surveyor for the State of Illinois, Caleb Johnson, with a Timble S5 Robotic Total Station, and overseen by Steven Kerr, one of the owners of a land surveying company.

A total of 87 people from Five Acres participated in a trust fall relay. They set the record in celebration of National Adoption Awareness Month and to raise awareness about foster care and adoption. Five Acres is a child and family service nonprofit based in Los Angeles and works to strengthen struggling families through mental and behavioral healthcare, as well as create new families through foster care in adoption.
