Breath World Records  

Gotaro Takahashi sets a new world record by emitting an 18.72 second "shh" while wearing a catcher’s mask, sunglasses, and holding a blue, helium-filled balloon. Takahashi performed the feat on May, 9 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. His father was present as a witness.

Brandon Frangipani took 0.06 seconds to say the word “waffle”.

Sadham Hussain inflated 1,000 balloons in two hours, 26 minutes, 58.00 seconds. He set the record at Voc Park in Coimbatore, India.

Paul Herman completed 228 finger lip rolls in one breath.

Jaykishan Hingu played a note on a bamboo flute for 31.53 seconds while balancing on a balance board.

Khoomei singer Xiulin Chang let out a single breath lasting one minute, 14.60 seconds.

Suresh Gaur said "Aahhh" for one minute, 13.62 seconds.

Kameron Messmer inflated a 260 balloon in 2.47 seconds.

Cory Cavin responded to an interruption from a crowd heckler with an “Oh, man” reaction that lasted 33.42 seconds. Cavin was talking with event host Dan Rollman about shoes when the interruption took place. The record was set at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS11][]

Operatic tenor Michael Kennedy sang 24 single-breath opera songs in 10 minutes, a new world record. Each song was sung using just one breath.

Brian Pankey blew a cup a distance of nine inches from one cup into another.

Seth L. held his breath for 24.25 seconds while standing on a pumpkin. The record was set at First Friday Las Vegas, a monthly festival held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The record was officiated by RecordSetter co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson. #FirstFridayLV

Tai Star spun a playing card on top of a light bulb by blowing. He kept the card spinning for 39.90 seconds.

Ethan and his friend completed 22 baseball catches while holding their breath. Ethan set the record as part of his stunt-journalism-book-project to become the "World's Best Catch Player".

Stephen Webster blew out a world record 50 candles with a single puff.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
