Jack, Finn, Molly and 19 of their friends leaped at once on a leap day.

Twelve librarians from the New Jersey Library Association rode the El Toro roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. They set the record to break the stereotype that librarians are introverted and timid shushers and to help foster a better understanding of what librarians are like.

Three members of Support The Melons performed a total of five limbos in 30 seconds while holding a melon. They set the record to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.

Sapphira collected 32 lip prints to form a kissing petition. She set the record to raise awareness about female empowerment through self-expression.

Forty Mary Kay consultants said “Mary Kay kisses cancer goodbye” at the same time. They set the record in honor of Terri Schaefer for the We Believe Foundation.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
