Diego P. played every note on a guitar in 12.95 seconds.

Doug McManaman balanced a miniature guitar on his forehead for 37.43 seconds.

Mike Gamble drank a full bottle of beer through a cocktail straw while shredding on the B string of his electric guitar in 58.25 seconds. His bandmate helped refill the glass while the record was being set. Gamble performed the feat on July 14, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Eric Buffett played all 125 notes on a five string, 24-fret bass guitar in 22.62 seconds.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Mick Cullenasked Carl Cutler “Where are my glasses?” 28 times during a live broadcast of WRLR 98.3 FM’sSubterraneanshow in Round Lake Heights, Illinois. Vaughan H. bounced a table tennis ball 1,103 times using his acoustic guitar as a paddle.

Mick Cullen bounced a table tennis ball 96 times using his electric guitar as a paddle. He used an Ibanez electric guitar to achieve the feat.

Chris Carraba of Dashboard Confessional performed a concert on top of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado at 14,111 feet above sea level. The concert was performed to raise funds for The Love Hope Strength Foundation.

Justin Nyugen played 13 chords on his Fender Squire Stratocaster with another guitar in 30 seconds, a new world record. Chords played: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, F#, G#, Bb, Am, Em, A7.

Owen Biddle of The Rootsplayed a bass guitar that was wired through two wah-wah pedals. He attempted to plug in six, but a faulty cable led to an unsuccessful attempt.
