Wave World Records  

At the 2015 VidCon Prom, 2,047 members of the YouTube community created the Largest Cellphone Wave, a RecordSetter.com World Record. Participants turned on their phone flashlights and created a wave of light motion back and forth across the floor of the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. Jay-Kub P. took 20 minutes, 17.27 seconds to wave directly towards the camera.

Viktor O. performed six consecutive card waves.

Connor D. performed 53 consecutive eyebrow waves.

Ethan H. waved at a computer camera 170 times in 30 seconds.

Carlos Burle surfed a 100-feet tall wave, setting a surfing world record. He set the record off the coast of central Portugal.

A total of 15 surfers rode a wave at once. The record was set during the XSories Jalenboo Surf and Skate Contest in Hainan, China. Read more about it here.

A total of 300 campers from iD Tech Camp - Stanford University performed "the wave".

65 people from Specific Media did the wave in a hotel ballroom.

371 employees of Burt’s Bees performed the wave and and then simultaneously applied lip balm. They then acknowledged the application of the lip balm by saying quot;Refreshing.quot;

106 computer resource specialists performed the wave for 30 seconds. The group consisted of computer resource specialists from Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
